Thanks Armwrestlers!!!

Bessie here.  Just want to say hello to all the super positive and loyal PJ fans from all over the world who have been integral in supporting this film.  We want those people to know that they are an important part of “Pulling John”.  The endless emails of encouragement and enthusiasm have fueled us in our most tedious hours of work.   Your encouragement speaks to your integrity.

When we began filming in 2003, it was with great excitement that we met so many amazing people.  On behalf of Navid and Sevan, I just want to say thank you, you’re efforts are so tremendously appreciated.

It’s has been a long haul and we are getting so close!  So stay tuned and we will load up lots of matches and keep everyone informed on regular basis on the grip-up section.  Keep the positivity flowin.   This is going to get really exciting!

I just wanna say that the man John Brzenk, is very much so a legend to me, and probably every armwrestler out their to date! I remember watching the movie ” Over the Top ” when I was just eight years old, and I loved that movie. I had no clue then what that movie was all about, until I grew and older and was exposed the the armwrestling world my sophmore year in high school, by a couple of guys Don Fritchie, and Scott Flemming. Just recently I,ve been watching the sport just have a snow ball affect over the last six years or so, and a big part, or person we can thank for that would be Gary Roberts, a gentlemen with a deep love for the sport, and the passion to do what it takes to keep it going, “thanks Gary”. I guess what I’m saying is John is by far a legend in this sport and many others ways, and is probably one of the most humble people you will ever meet, and I’m glad I’ve been lucky enough to meet the man, and I think I can speek for everyone in saying he is the best! Thank you and everyone affiliated with the making of this movie, John deserves all the credit he gets, and the sport as a whole will benefit greatly from this movie, thanks to everyone this means a great deal to alort of us,espeacilly to a young twenty five year old looking to hopefully some day have his name remembered. Thanks again.

    Cool website!

I’m really looking forward to seeing the movie. While John Brzenk is one of the best arm wrestlers in the world, he has been defeated many a times.
You mentioned in the comic book “25 years later he remains undefeated.” We all know that is not correct, even though it grabs our attention, we all know it’s not true.
I hope all goes well for you.

I can’t wait for this movie. I have known Travis for years, and I have had the pleasure of meeting John only once, but he was awesome. I can’t wait for this thing to come out. I know I will be one of the first orders whenever this thing gets released. Please post some trailers or teasers to at least bide the time. Keep up the great work.

I am looking forward to the release and seeing the movie. I saw John Oct.11,2008 at (Rulers Of The Nation) tournament in Kansas City, Mo. The man has not missed a step in his years of armwrestling and he displayed it very well that day. He won the tournament with respect to his competitors and a pure love for the sport. He is a professional in every sense of the word. Thank you for bring his story to the big screen.
